A card day's night (sorry)
All I want is a card: a card for a christening for girl-boy twins from their godmother. Is that really such a difficult thing to ask? Apparently so. I spent the morning looking in three different shops and found nothing to suit my purposes. Birth of twin cards, yes. Christening, baptism and name day cards for single infants, yes. Cards from godparents, yes. But nothing that combined all three themes together. In the end I bought a blank card.

It wasn't a good photo to start with and scanning made it worse, but you get the general idea.

The bronze colour is about right, but the blue is darker in real life. You can see the colour better here. It's #507 Miro (second column, second from bottom). The bronze is #506, but I can't see it on that list.
And while I'm scanning pictures,
This appears in the newspaper quite regularly as an advertisement for photographic services, and I just love it. Especially the expression on the piglet's face.

And finally, I stumbled across this yesterday. I particularly like the crystal serving dishes. And judging by what comes after you click on "Begin your adventure", the good people at Fancy Feast have got way too much time on their hands.
