Zucchini overload
What a funny thing memory is. I only have room for a certain number of dates in my head and yet my brain insists that one of those should be today, 6 February, birthday of a boy called Andrew on whom I had a crush in primary school. I haven't seen him in - oh, dear God - twenty-three years. Let it go, brain.
I'm not sold on the idea of genetically modified crops in general, but I must say, if someone came up with GM vegetable plants for personal use, I'd consider it. I've got too many zucchinis (or courgettes, as some of you would have it) in my life just now. A zucchini plant modified to grow one or two vegetables at a time over a longer period... well, that would be ideal. I should write to Monsanto. In the meantime, I know what I will be having for dinner tonight again.
