Time wasting
Today is a public holiday in honour of Labour Day, commemorating the eight hour working day. I've just been looking at the calendar and have come to the shocking realisation that I only have five such working days between now and the end of March. That's partly because I only work three days a week and partly because March is laden with public holidays (and one self-declared holiday known as Alicia's Birthday). So hooray for Labour Day.
I haven't seen Hoppy the One Legged Magpie for four days now. I'm a bit worried about him.
Anyway, I've spent the morning catching up on my blog reading and, well, just clicking, and I've found out about all sorts of interesting things:
Who wants a Cookie Monster Hat?
And look at the rooms in this Danish hotel! I can't decide if I'd prefer to stay in room 506, 510 or 217. What about you?
(Both found thanks to a Melbourne-based arty-crafty blog found via another Melbourne-based arty-crafty blog.)
Also? You can vote for the oddest book title of the year. I voted for Cheese Problems Solved, although I was sorry that Squid Recruitment Dynamics didn't make the final cut.
