In other news, I'm worried about Hoppy, the one-legged magpie. The other magpies have started picking on her a bit, stealing her food and such, and she's not eating when they're not around either. She spent all of today sitting under a shrub, looking cold and wet and miserable, rather than sitting on the patio to get out of the rain like she normally does. I mean, she's a wild bird, and there's nothing I can do other than leave some oats out and make sure the bird bath has plenty of water. Still, I'm quite fond of her.
