In which I am completely lacking in ruth

I feel most righteous. I decided to rearrange the furniture in the living room today, which meant I had to take the CDs out of their cabinet to move it. I thought that, since they were out, I might as well sort through them and toss out the ones that I don't listen to anymore or can't remember why I bought them in the first place. I was ruthless: seventy-six went straight into a box to go to a charity shop and another nineteen will join them as soon as I rip one song off each. I feel as though a weight has been lifted from me. It is good to get rid of things.
