They Touched Heaven
I hate myself for clicking on click bait. I am impervious to What the Cast of [Insert Show] Looks Like Now Will Amaze You, but I saw one today promising to tell me The Unconventional Appliance Housewives Love. Ooh! What could it be? A dishwasher with TWO DRAWERS. Sigh.
Tuesday's random reviews:
10:25 – Buying fresh fish – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This morning I nipped down to the fresh fish shop to get a salmon fillet for tonight's dinner and oh, oh, oh, they had fresh-cooked bugs. I love bugs. I could eat my body-weight in bugs. I didn't, though. I bought only two and had them with lemon juice, crusty bread and a salad for lunch.
11:25 – Gardening – ★ ★ ★
At this time, I was outside in the garden. I repotted the Christmas tree, planted some new parsley seedlings, did a bit of weeding and filled the birdbaths. Dull but necessary stuff.
18:05 – Putting the bin out – ★ ★ ★ ★
Oh, man. The timer couldn't have gone off at a more boring time, could it? But I like putting the bin out. Everything's fresh and clean for the week. My neighbours have a stormwater cover in front of their drain, so they can put their bin on that for collection, rather than the grass like I do. If I had one of them, it would be a five-star experience.
Tomorrow, though. Tomorrow I have actual plans, so that should throw up something more interesting.
We're supposed to be able to see an aurora tonight. Fingers crossed.
