Weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth

That's what I've been doing... mostly the gnashing of teeth, actually, combined with quiet but deeply, deeply heart-felt muttering. Who'd have thought renewing my anti-virus subscription would be so difficult? All I ask is a box to enter my subscription key, but following the complicated emailed instructions led to a string of error messages, and following the equally complicated but contradictory instructions on the website led to a different set of error messages. So after seventy minutes I rebooted, discarded both sets of instructions, took some calming breaths to quiet my mind and found the correct box in two mouse clicks.
