Something to look forward to
Nov. 2nd, 2006 05:19 pmI've seen a few people on the f-list mention NaNo, so good luck if you're doing it. I'm much too lazy for that sort of thing. I've been wondering, though, if I could do my own, slacker's, NaNo: writing an LJ entry every day in November. If nothing else, it will be a way to get rid of the list of things I've got jotted in my notebook, but have never got round to mentioning. So unless something actually worth writing about happens to me in the next month, you can look forward to reading my thoughts on: "hills and cows", "sudoku", "cannibal wife" and "giant mushrooms". It'll be a month to remember.
But I don't need to resort to those things today; I've been busy. I've re-enrolled at university for next year, I've finally bought a digital camera and I've just booked tickets to see the Melbourne Theatre Company's production of Tomfoolery, the Tom Lehrer musical, later this month. I've been looking at the publicity photo on that website, trying to work out if Rhonda Burchmore (the actress) was (a) snapped at an inopportune moment, (b) is in character or (c) really does look that crazy all the time.
So what do we think?
