I told myself I will write an entry today, then proceeded to do nothing of interest. Oh, I helped an old lady find the glacé cherries in the supermarket, which was nice of me, I suppose, but hardly a gripping read.
You know, people get so possessive of their favourite texts, and start to froth at the mouth if things don't go the way they want. I try to be more detached; if a story takes a turn I don't like, I try to go with it, but if I can't, if it's just too wrong for the image I've got in my head, I stop. I try not to take these things personally. I will say, however, that the final panel of today's For Better or For Worse made me laugh much harder than it should have. I'm going to take it as pre-compensation for the distress I will be caused when Liz inevitably ends up with icky Anthony.
Something else that made me laugh: one of the business blogs I read had a Vent Through Haiku day for its readers to complain about office life. This was my favourite:
Well, obviously
You did not read the memo
Hahahahaha!
And finally:
