Iced grape and black cherry
Jan. 28th, 2008 09:55 pmI don't like having my photo taken. Not at all. So I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow, when I must take myself off to VicRoads to renew my driver's licence. Oh, the joy of it.
On the other hand, though, I can't say I like my current licence photo, so I should be glad of a chance to get a new one.
Anyway, I think I should at least try to look presentable on a document I'm going to have to live with for the next ten years. So I've been experimenting to see what lipstick most says "this woman is safe behind the wheel". I think it's time to face facts that I'm too old for my favourite Iced Grape colour; it used to give me a carefree, Swingin' Sixties sort of look, but now the frosted blueish tone makes me resemble a corpse. My respectable work Coffee Brown and Nude tones are just too boring, and I don't think Magenta Fiesta says "responsible driver". I think I'm going to have to go with Black Cherry (which, by coincidence, is what I'm eating right now).
So, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
