So very predictable
Dec. 19th, 2008 12:54 pmIt's just not Christmas in the City by the Sea without the local paper devoting its front page to a large photo of sad children lamenting the mindless destruction of their decorations by heartless vandals, and look what turned up yesterday. I wonder if it's the same vandals every year?
Today is the last day of work for the year. So far, we've divvied up the bounty from the corporate gift baskets (my haul: some fancy chocolates from a grateful doctor, macadamia shortbread and jam from a software company named JAM and a wooden pencil case from the Mantra Deep Blue, where we hold workshops and conferences. Oh, and a punnet of fresh raspberries from Brian.) and I've re-formatted my email signature for next year (2009 is going to be sans serif, as far as the font of my email signature goes). Simon the New Chap has suggested that we while away the afternoon by putting archived folders in chronological order, so, hmm, not what you'd call a stressful day.
