People who insist on being placed on hold despite being told the person they want to speak to might not be available for a while, who insist several minutes later that they're still happy to wait, and who then hang up just as the person they want picks the phone up. Stop tying up my phone line, annoying person who has done that twice today.
On an unrelated note, I wrote out fifteen cheques this morning and realised at the end that I'd dated them all 05/01/2008. Sigh. Mind you, sometimes I get stir-crazy writing out large volumes of cheques and find myself writing 05/01/97 or something like that. I don't know where that comes from; sometimes my brain just decides it's still 2004 on paper.
