Print Screen magic
Oct. 1st, 2009 11:15 pmToday I made some Anzac biscuits and completed all the crossword but one clue. What is 'grovelling' with these letters: _ B _ E _ T? (ETA: Abject! Thank you,
bingo_mcdingo!)
Flicking through the TV channels tonight, I saw a scene in which a police officer was looking at a suspect's photo on his computer. He pressed the Print Screen button on his keyboard and his printer whirred into action and printed out the photo. No program I've ever used does that from the Print Screen button. But then, shortly after pressing his magic Print Screen button, this same policeman dressed up as a burglar and invaded the home of his chief suspect at night and held him at gunpoint until he agreed to go to the station the next day to confess. So, um, yes, I question the verisimilitude of this program.
