My Slippery Violations
Dec. 8th, 2010 11:05 pmThey offered me the job, which was nice. I turned it down. I hope I've made the right decision.
I told my boss and he said, 'This woman rang me for a reference and I told her how great you were and how sorry I'd be to lose you and she'd be mad not to hire you, and I *still* can't get rid of you.' But he seemed pleased. So that's that. It's good to know I have the ability to get another job if I have to. After six years in the same job and all the recent nonsense, I have been doubting my abilities, so it's nice to be validated.
I am looking forward to my two weeks off at the end of the year, though.
Tonight I have been to the my work's Christmas dinner. I am full of prawns. Yum.
