My Square Importance
Dec. 21st, 2010 02:31 pmI went out for some fresh air at lunch and when I came back the office manager and our boss re-enacted a phone call that had taken place while I was out. It went like this:
The phone rings.
Leeanne the office manager: [Workplace name], Leeanne speaking.
Donna from Eftel: It's Donna from Eftel, how can I help you?
Leeanne: You called me.
Donna: Yes, it's Donna from Eftel, how can I help you?
Leeanne: I don't know, what do you want?
Donna: It's Donna from Eftel, how can I help you?
Leeanne: Are you returning a call from someone?
Donna: Yes, it's Donna from Eftel, how can I help you?
They (well, Leeanne) eventually worked out that it was me Donna wanted and she's going to call back. I hope Donna is more helpful answering my question than she asking to speak to the right person.
