My Polished Matrix

This weekend there is a quilt show being held in the assembly hall of my old school. There is a group raising funds for a cancer care centre in the City by the Sea and they had the idea of asking local quilters to submit a couple of quilts to display. They got 307 quilts, including two from my mother and even some from across the state border. So that's where I've been today. I even saw my old friend, Marlene, the lady who sat next to me at the Photoshop course I did last year, who was involved with organising the event and put in six of her own quilts. So that was all very nice... and it gave me my final photo of the day for this week.

* Well, it's like this: all day Thursday my camera refused to acknowledge it had memory card in it. Thursday night I had one last try and it worked. I think the humidity affected it.
