The space mummy
Mar. 21st, 2011 03:08 pmA headline from today's medical newsletter: Urologist confesses he was seduced by a robot. It wasn't as interesting as you'd think.
There is a house around the corner from me that has always had a 'beware of the dog' sign. The sign showed a vicious-looking rottweiler, but the actual dog of which we were to beware was a cheerful little terrier. The gate was always shut so all it could do when someone passed by was run around the garden wagging its tail. So that was all very amusing. Anyway, those people and their nice dog have moved and new people have moved in. Their first action was to take down the 'beware of the dog' sign and remove the gate so their garden is always open. I took this to mean that they don't have a dog, but they do. It's a horrible little pomeranian that runs out and snaps at the ankles of innocent passers-by. Coming back from getting the paper yesterday, it was on the footpath in front of the fence while the man mowed his front garden. The dog came at me, all teeth and snarls, and the man didn't even turn around. Gah. I hope it bites him one day.
