A Heaven on Earth

This weekend has been an inadvertent clean-up weekend. Every time I picked up a jar of something, I used all that was left. That was the end of the kim chi, the marinated capsicum, the Milo, the peaches, the sesame oil. Not all in the same meal. I even used the last of the 9-volt batteries for the smoke detector. My fridge is looking so clean right now, let me tell you. (Do you keep spare batteries in the fridge? I do, because that was the family habit. It allegedly makes them keep longer. But they're not refrigerated when you buy them, are they? I sort of suspect this is a family delusion that I am only maintaining because I can't think of anywhere better to put them.)

I have settled on my Nice Things To Do In November, once I am unemployed. I have booked tickets to see Kinky Boots, and I will go and see about doing the camera course next week. I feel both excited and ill whenever I think of how much I have to do before I finish. Three weeks to go!
