How to cure eczema within a few days
Jan. 18th, 2019 03:45 pmThe City by the Sea is not a big place. I have to walk past my old work to get to my new work. Since I started in mid-October, I've run into almost all my former colleagues in the street, which is nice. This morning, I was walking towards the building when I saw someone come out of the private car park and turn towards the building's entrance. I was close enough to say hello if I walked a little quicker, so I looked to see who it was. It was... it was... oh dear, it was our old "friend" from a different office, Passive-Aggressive Lady, obviously in town for a visit.
I don't know if I mentioned this, but up to six months after I finished, PALady was refusing to do certain work, saying she was too busy and couldn't even spare time to show one of her junior finance officers how to do it. So for one particular job, the CEO employed me to come back for a couple of mornings, to teach the junior. That made PALady paranoid, and for several weeks afterwards she would apparently enquire casually, during phone calls, if I had been in the office recently.
Anyway, there she was, about to reach out and open the front door, and I thought, what if I said a cheery "good morning, PALady!" then went in in front of her, swinging my lunch bag and waltzing up the stairs like I belonged?
But I had to get to work, so I hung back to let her go in without seeing me, then went on my way.
It would have been funny, though. Imagine her face.
