The City by the Sea

I just had cause to google the City by the Sea, and came across a tourism website showing photos of some of its main features. Hmph. If you've got a hankering to know what I see every day, now you can! Granted, the City by the Sea is not an exciting place, but whoever took these shots seems to have gone out of their way to find the most boring angles (with the exception of the photo of the war memorial angel with the clouds behind it, which I like a lot). It really is (a bit) nicer than those photos make it seem.
Also, my subject problems for next year have been sorted (they're now running the boring compulsory subject) and I have a blister on my right little toe. So that's my day. How was yours?
ETA: I should point out that the reason I was googling the City by the Sea in the first place was for yesterday's discusson at drawanyway about how you'd represent your home town. If you're interested in drawing or painting (or trying to), do go and have a look.
