What was it about William Bligh? As if the famous mutiny while he was captain of the Bounty wasn't enough, he later came to Australia as Governor of the then penal colony of New South Wales, where he was again overthrown by mutineers. Or as the newsreader put it today, "the colony was taken over by a ruthless junta affectionately known as the Rum Rebellion".
"Affectionately" is not a term I'd normally associate with the words "ruthless junta", but... all righty then.
