Plum out of plums

And the second bucket of plums is gone: seven more jars of jam, two plum cakes, a bag given to a friend and half a dozen left over for eating. Now I'm all plummed out.
A few months ago, I bought some dwarf capsicum plants for my vegetable garden. They have now fruited to reveal that 'dwarf' doesn't relate to the size of the plant (which is what I thought) but to that of the capsicums themselves, as my comparison with an orange (above right) suggests. (The photo also shows that curiosity got the better of me and made me pull up one of my purple carrots, just to see. They're definitely purple, I'd say, although, ah, not exactly ready to eat.)
Finally, here's a Sunday dilemma for us all to ponder: A woman needs a kidney transplant so her husband selflessly gives her one of his. A few year later they divorce; the husband wants his kidney back or $1.5 million (US) compensation in lieu.
