todayiamadaisyIt's not often I miss living on a farm, but I do on brisk autumn days. On a day like today I would have been wandering the sheep paddocks with a small, sharp knife, stomping on puffballs and filling an empty icecream container with field mushrooms. I had to make do this evening with some portobello mushrooms on fresh bread instead. I love mushrooms.
This time of year my thoughts also turn towards my new winter scarf. I spent today at a felting workshop and am now the possessor of a bright blue scarf with significantly less that straight edges. I was going to take a photo to garner opinions one whether I should embroider clouds on it or not, but the light was gone by the time I got home. So that's something to look forward in the next couple of days.
My new felt scarf is slightly shorter than I normally like, so I still think I might knit a new one too. Ah, decisions.
