The perils of red pens and wrap dresses
Dec. 5th, 2008 12:17 pmToday I was walking to work (passing a disappointingly dull Salvation Army sign update about wise men still seeking the nativity) when I suddenly felt cold. Investigation revealed that the bow tying my wrap dress together had come undone and the dress had unwrapped itself. Fortunately, the other half of the wrap is held in place with a hidden button, thus sparing my modesty. The bow is tied much tighter now.
Also, Queensland teachers have been advised that marking students' work in red pen could harm their mental health.

Yes, youth suicide is a serious issue... but surely there are deeper underlying causes than red pens?
