My mother came home at lunchtime, went back to the hospital at dinnertime, and is now home again with stronger painkillers and still looking rather sorry and seedy. It seems the problem is muscular, but she's having a CT scan tomorrow to reveal more. In the meantime, I'm not thinking about it. La la la...
