Two Hearts in Hungary

My upper left wisdom tooth is a strange one. It's growing out sideways. The dentist has been keeping an eye on it, but said if it wasn't bothering me, he was happy to leave it in.
About a month ago, one edge of it started to feel jagged, and it's been scratching the side of my mouth. I've got a week off in June, so I organised an appointment to have it looked at again.
Today, it felt more jagged than usual, so I gave it a poke with my tongue, and suddenly I had a small, hard pellet in my mouth, which turned out to be the top of a wisdom tooth. And it is disgusting. What would be the top of the tooth, the part that's been rubbing the side of my mouth, is discoloured and covered with white blister-things. What's left in my mouth feels like a perfect crater.
It's not sore, fortunately, but I rang the dentist's office and managed to move my appointment forward to Monday. I suspect he'll take the rest of the tooth out then.
So that has been today's excitement.
