todayiamadaisyTime for my weekly cardigan photo. It shows the back this time, just for a bit of a change. I've finished the body now, so it'll be a bit more exciting from here on in. (As long as you find sleeves exciting.)
It is so warm. It spreads out on my lap while I'm knitting and it's lovely. I keep thinking perhaps I should cast off and leave it as a lap blanket. I am such an old lady.
I have knitted for so long now my mind is starting to wander. I'm so close to finishing (I'm really not), I'm starting to wonder what to knit next. And this is why I have trouble finishing things.
I have just finished reading a book, set in the present, which finishes with someone falling into a pool, and three women, aged from twenty to twenty-nine, watching helplessly because none of them can swim. Two of them went to private schools. I mean, that doesn't necessarily mean they would learn to swim, but you'd think it would increase their exposure to swimming pools. Also, it's set in Cape Town, which I assume has beaches. Or perhaps I am overestimating how common being able to swim is?
