Do you want to see my work desktop? Do you? Really?
I like a clean desktop. I also like a dash of variety. I change the background every fortnight or so. The number of icons had crept up to, ooh, ten and it was driving me mad, so I had a bit of a tidy up when I changed the background today. Isn't it neat? I'm now looking at the third icon there, the one with the label ("Frequently used") that goes over two lines, and wondering whether I should rename it something more streamlined. Is that a bit obsessive of me?
I've got a problem with a noisy neighbour. There's a little space under the eaves just outside my bedroom window that is just the right size for a sparrow to sleep in at night. It's very jolly... or it normally is, at any rate. I think there might be a new sparrow tenant now, because it has recently started cheeping all night long. Not constantly; just every now and then, a single "CHEEP!", and there's something about the space that makes magnifies the sound and makes it echo right through my room. Perhaps my little sparrow is having nightmares.
